The 2nd STEM Summer Institute will be held in the NEW STEM Center at Big Bend Community College (1200 Building). Our goal to expose you to exciting careers in engineering by allowing you an opportunity to network with local engineers, university faculty, by providing hands on activities and access to a local manufacturing facility.
The summer event is FREE to high school students, potential college students, and currently enrolled college students with an interest in careers related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Parents, teachers, counselors, program staff (TRiO, GEAR UP, etc.) and school administrators are also very much welcome to register and participate.

Both forms are DUE WEDNESDAY 6/19 for the high school student event
and 6/26 for the college student event
(The forms below are also available during the online registration.)
You will need to complete a BBCC Travel Form to ride in the Big Bend vans and visit REC Silicon. No private vehicles will be permitted for this activity.
In order to tour REC Silicon you will need to complete an REC Liability Form acknowledging safety and Non-Disclosure Agreements. This activity is limited to our students, staff and other participants approved by BBCC-STEM and REC.
